Amadablam base camp trekking begins with a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and then continues through Phakding along the Dudh Koshi river and picturesque route takes you through the settlement of Sherpa indigenous community, passing through Tyangboche and you finally reach at Ama Dablam base camp (4,650 m) and from the camp you will take superb views of the range of mountains from very close including of Mt. Everest. this highest peaks of the earth lies right in front of you, as if you are there and making excursion around the glacial, icy and rocky hills you will return back to Pangboche, Khumjung, Phakding and finally get back to Lukla and return back to Kathmandu in a flight.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300 /4,428ft).

Day 02: Kathmandu: sightseeing & Trip Preparation (1,300m/4,264ft).

Day 03: Kathmandu – Lukla (2,800m.) Trek Phakding (2,652m.) 3-4 hours trek.

Day 04: Trek Phakding – Namche Bazaar (3,440 m.) 5-6 hours trek.

Day 05: Rest and acclimatization at Namche.

Day 06: Trek Namche Bazaar – Tengboche (3,860 m.) 5-6 hours trek.

Day 07: Trek Tengboche – Pangboche (4, 010m) 3-4 hours trek.

Day 12: We fly to Katmandu and we go for a farewell dinner in the evening.

Day 13: Transfer to the airport for our onward flight home sweet home.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300 /4,428ft).
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be welcomed by a representative from Volunteer Society Treks. After sorting out your custom formalities (Visa etc) you will be then transferred to the hotel. The representative will help you check into your designated hotel and give you some time to freshen up. After this, we will attend an orientation about your trek led by our Trekking leader over a typical Nepali welcome dinner that will include a scintillating cultural dance performed by the local belles. You then return to your hotel for your first overnight in the valley of the gods! *Included Meal Dinner. (D)

Day 02: Kathmandu: sightseeing & Trip Preparation (1,300m/4,264ft).
Kathmandu is the cultural heart of Nepal and has been a famous destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its borders to visitors. The city displays an interesting combination of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley. Patan and Bhaktapur, the two important neighboring cities bear much cultural and religious significance to Nepal’s landscape. There will be a full day guided tour to the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, unique architectures and Kumari (living goddess), the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Boudhhanath), in the evening, there will be a pre-trip discussion where we meet our trek leader and other stuff for your adventure trip.Overnight at hotel, included meal: (B)

Day 03: Kathmandu – Lukla (2,800m.) Trek Phakding (2,652m.) 3-4 hours trek.
Today, we get transferred to the domestic airport for the 40-mins scenic mountain flight to Tenzing and Hillary airport at Lukla (2804m).After landing we have time to explore the village while our crew sort and load our trekking equipment. Then we begin our trek by descending along the Dudh Koshi River where we join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka (2713m) The trail offers some tantalizing views before reaching the small settlement of Phakding (2,652m) We stay overnight at lodge.( B,L.D)

Day 04: Trek Phakding – Namche Bazaar (3,440 m.) 5-6 hours trek.
After breakfast, we will continue our trek through a beautiful pine forest; the trail takes us along the Dudh Koshi River through suspension bridge before reaching Monjo the entrance gate of Sagarmatha national park. We pass through the last village of Jorsale (2,805m) crossing the west fork of the river, the Bhote Kosi, and start the steep climb to Namche Bazaar, administrative centre of the Khumbu region. After a final steep ascent of about two hours, we get our first glimpse of the summit of Everest appearing majestically behind the great ridge of Nuptse-Lhotse. Namche Bazaar is a historic trading point where Nepalese and Tibetan traders exchange basis needs such as salt, textiles and dried meat. We stay overnight at lodge (B, L, D)

Day 05: Rest and acclimatization at Namche.
On this day we rest at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. It is an ideal place to spend a rest day for acclimatization at a high altitude before heading off towards Tengboche. For acclimatization you walk up to Khunde Hospital which was set up by the late Sir Edmund Hillary and you can also hike for an hour up to Tengboche (3800m.) where Everest View Hotel is situated above Namche for some outstanding views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru. There are also good views from the National Park Center and Museum just above the town. Stay overnight at Namche.

Day 06: Trek Namche Bazaar – Tengboche (3,860 m.) 5-6 hours trek.
Today, we continue trek along the rushing glacial Dudh Kosi River with magnificent views of the majestic Himalayas that becomes more dramatic as you approach the holy place of Tengboche. A traditional site with its beautiful Monastery, it is spiritual center of the Khumbu region where the rimpoche (Lama Re-incarnate) exists. Monastery is made of incredible ornate wall hangings, twenty feet sculpture of Buddha and the musical instruments of robes of the Lamas; if you are lucky enough you will see the Lama Performing their rituals and hear the divine chanting and music. Tyangboche known as the best place for panoramic view of the Mt. Kwangde, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Kangtega, Mt.Ama Dablam and among others. We stay overnight at Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 07: Trek Tengboche – Pangboche (4, 010m) 3-4 hours trek.
Today, we will trek around three hours long. The view of Ama Dablam soaring directly over head is breathtaking. Pangboche houses one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in the Khumbu region and the highest year round settlement in the region. Overnight at Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 08: Trek Pangboche – Ama Dablam Base Camp (4,650m) – Pangboche. (4,010m.) 7-8 hours trek.

Day 09 –Trek Pangboche – Khumjung Village (3,790m) 7-8 hours trek.
This morning we’ll make our way down through beautiful forest, where we’re sure to hear the familiar bells of yaks grazing nearby. Keep an eye out for musk deer as we head through the forest as they’re often seen here. As we descend, the air becomes richer, the air temperature warmer and the sounds of raging rivers louder. We’ll stop for lunch beside the Dudh Khosi River before winding our way up towards the picturesque village of Khumjung and past a tree nursery established by Sir Edmund Hillary’s Himalaya Trust. We stay Overnight at Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 10: Trek Khumjung village – Phakding (2, 652m.) 5-6 hours trek.
Today we descent first to Namche Bazaar and then continue our way back down the valley and descent steeply back to the Dudh Kosi river and continue our way past the national park checkpoint at Monjo. From Monjo we will go through forests of magnolia, giant firs and rhododendrons to Chomoa, the site of an agricultural project. We cross the Dudh Kosi River to its west-bank and continue our way down to Phakding. We stay overnight at Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 11: Trek Phakding – Lukla (2, 840 m.) 3 hours trek.
After breakfast our trail moves downward thorough many small Gurung villages along with Dudh Koshi River. Once again you can see the lush greenery with panoramic views of mountain and local Sherpa villages. Upon arrival on Lukla you can visit the beautiful Lukla village then at evening you enjoy dinner with all group member. We stay overnight stay at Lodge (B, L, D).

Day 12: We fly to Katmandu and we go for a farewell dinner in the evening.
This is an early morning flight back to Kathmandu which takes about 40 minutes. Your day is free, however, at even tide; you will be taken to a well known Nepali kitchen for a delicious farewell dinner of the original Nepalese cuisine. As you enjoy your meal, you will also be entertained to an exciting cultural dance performed by the local belles. You will enjoy this experience which is complimentary on behalf of the Volunteer Society Treks. Overnight at hotel (B, D)

Day 13: Transfer to the airport for our onward flight home sweet home.
Our office representatives will escort you to the airport for your connecting flight home. It’s been wonderful meeting you & knowing you all of these weeks.
