Tej Shrestha has been in the travel and tourism industry since 1994.He is recognised in the industry for his innovative ideas and successes.
Having worked with hundreds of professionals worldwide, Tej has the unique ability to connect, identify and address the distinctive needs of his clients, be they individuals or corporations.
He is very active in social welfare and community based projects. He has been involved with several social welfare organizations especially working for the development of youth, women and children in Nepal. From his activities, more than a dozen of schools and orphanages in Nepal have received various types of support. He has also created job opportunities for more than 100 professionals in Nepal.
Dinesh has been working in the tourism industry and cross-cultural training for more than 20 years. Before working for Volunteer Society Treks Nepal, he headed the Language & Cultural Training and Services divisions of the International Nepal Fellowship, a international non-governmental aid organization.
Dinesh has travelled extensively around the world to countries such as USA, UK, Norway, China and Thailand, to improve his understanding of tourism facilities and services.
Rupa Raj Bhandari (Finance Director)
Ms. Rupa Raj Bhandary is originally from Kathmandu. Rupa has completed a Masters Degree in Accountancy from Tribhuvan University. Prior to her current position, she worked in the finance department of various institutions, trekking and tour companies.
Gelu is originally from Salleri in the Solukhumbu district. He has been working in the tourism industry as a trekking guide, and a tour and trekking manager for the past 17 years. He has a long experience in successfully organizing and leading treks in Tibet, India, Bhutan, and all major Himalayan routes including climbs over 5000 metres. His success is due to his vast knowledge and boundless enthusiasm.
